KOREA, SINGAPORE, TAIWAN, AND THAILAND, AND A REGISTERED ATTENDEE OF ADOBE LEARNING WORLD 2024 TO PARTICIPATE
2. All participants need to submit projects individually (not as a team).
3. Participants need to create projects using all-new Adobe Captivate (version 12 and above) with a minimum of 4 project slides (see examples at https://elearning.adobe.com/projects/).
4. Use as many features of Adobe Captivate as you can.
5. Project themes can range from formal learning themes to any informal themes such as health & lifestyle, travel, education, food, music, sports etc.
6. The published zip folder and .CPT file of all the projects must be emailed to us at eLProjects@adobe.com. If you face difficulty sharing the files with us, please upload them on a cloud drive and share the link with us over email.

Judging Criteria:

A panel of qualified judges designated by Adobe will, in their sole discretion, evaluate and score all eligible entries received and select the Participants with the highest score (potential “winner(s)”) using the below criteria:

• Innovation: Does the design offer innovative approaches or solutions to common e-learning challenges?
• Creativity: Are there creative elements that make the learning experience memorable and beautiful?
• Engagement: Does the design motivate learners to actively participate and complete the content?
• Interactivity: Does the design offer interactive elements that encourage active participation and learning?
• Multimedia Integration: How well are various multimedia elements (videos, quizzes, simulations) incorporated to enhance engagement?
• Assessment: Are there appropriate methods to assess learner understanding and progress?
• Feedback Mechanisms: Are there opportunities for learners to receive feedback on their progress?
• Accessibility: Is the course accessible to all users, including those with disabilities?

Accessibility in e-learning design is more than making accommodations for those with disabilities. When you consider the broad range of individuals who are your learners, you will find that some accessibility practices are a requirement, not an option.

"Design for All" is a concept that invites you to remove barriers to learning for everyone by practicing people-first design from the very beginning.

In this session, we'll explore ways to break down barriers with the design essentials for accessible digital content.

First, you'll gain insight into what's it's like to take e-learning using a screen reader. Then, you'll learn about structure and focus order with examples from popular authoring tools. I'll demonstrate different use cases for alternative text and image descriptions, along with tips and tools for writing and adding them. You'll have an opportunity to explore color use and contrast examples, and identify useful testing and simulation tools. And finally, we will explore captioning, transcripts, and audio descriptions and their use cases.

We will discuss how these essential practices can integrate seamlessly into your design process without adding unnecessary work. This session demystifies accessibility, fostering an inclusive design approach that enhances the learning experience for all.

Online tutorials at The Open University are an integral part of the student experience and Adobe Connect is used to deliver tutorials at scale. This session will show how Adobe Connect is integrated with the OU’s virtual learning environment to provide a consistent and accessible interface for rooms to be set up centrally by a dedicated team, and all rooms and recordings are easily accessed within learning content. Providing a service to 5000+ tutors so that we do the admin and provide links to rooms enables tutors to focus on the learning design for a tutorial. Ensuring the student experience and end to end journey from booking on and attending tutorials, to finding recordings to catch up and take notes is achieved through user-centred design principles.

KOREA, SINGAPORE, TAIWAN, AND THAILAND, AND A REGISTERED ATTENDEE OF ADOBE LEARNING WORLD 2024 TO PARTICIPATE
2. All participants need to submit projects individually (not as a team).
3. Participants need to create projects using all-new Adobe Captivate (version 12 and above) with a minimum of 4 project slides (see examples at https://elearning.adobe.com/projects/).
4. Use as many features of Adobe Captivate as you can.
5. Project themes can range from formal learning themes to any informal themes such as health & lifestyle, travel, education, food, music, sports etc.
6. The published zip folder and .CPT file of all the projects must be emailed to us at eLProjects@adobe.com. If you face difficulty sharing the files with us, please upload them on a cloud drive and share the link with us over email.

Judging Criteria

A panel of qualified judges designated by Adobe will, in their sole discretion, evaluate and score all eligible entries received and select the Participants with the highest score (potential “winner(s)”) using the below criteria:

• Innovation: Does the design offer innovative approaches or solutions to common e-learning challenges?
• Creativity: Are there creative elements that make the learning experience memorable and beautiful?
• Engagement: Does the design motivate learners to actively participate and complete the content?
• Interactivity: Does the design offer interactive elements that encourage active participation and learning?
• Multimedia Integration: How well are various multimedia elements (videos, quizzes, simulations) incorporated to enhance engagement?
• Assessment: Are there appropriate methods to assess learner understanding and progress?
• Feedback Mechanisms: Are there opportunities for learners to receive feedback on their progress?
• Accessibility: Is the course accessible to all users, including those with disabilities?

Now that you have embarked on the journey to achieve excellence in all-new Adobe Captivate, here’s a thrilling learning design challenge for you! Submit an eLearning project created with all-new Adobe Captivate, in 45 minutes, and earn a ticket to the spotlight in the world of eLearning.

The Rewards:

The best talents across the globe will be picked by a panel of distinguished eLearning experts.
1. The top 3 winners will be rewarded with
a. A certificate from Adobe
b. Amazon gift cards worth $500, $200 and $100 (or equivalent amount in your currency)
2. The winners shall also get a chance to feature in Adobe’s knowledge sharing sessions—eLearning Unplugged—where they can share the tips and tricks to quickly create prize-winning projects.
3. The award winning projects will be showcased in our Community newsletters and social media channels.
4. Additionally, all participants who submit their projects will be awarded a certificate of participation.

The Rules:
1. Eligibility: YOU MUST BE 18 YEARS OF AGE (OR THE AGE OF MAJORITY IN YOUR JURISDICTION) OR OLDER AND A LEGAL RESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES, CANADA (EXCLUDING QUEBEC), AUSTRIA, BELGIUM, DENMARK, FINLAND, ICELAND, IRELAND, THE UNITED KINGDOM, AUSTRALIA, NEW ZEALAND, HONG KONG, INDIA, INDONESIA, MALAYSIA, PHILIPPINES, S. KOREA, SINGAPORE, TAIWAN, AND THAILAND, AND A REGISTERED ATTENDEE OF ADOBE LEARNING WORLD 2024 TO PARTICIPATE
2. All participants need to submit projects individually (not as a team).
3. Participants need to create projects using all-new Adobe Captivate (version 12 and above) with a minimum of 4 project slides (see examples at https://elearning.adobe.com/projects/).
4. Use as many features of Adobe Captivate as you can.
5. Project themes can range from formal learning themes to any informal themes such as health & lifestyle, travel, education, food, music, sports etc.
6. The published zip folder and .CPT file of all the projects must be emailed to us at eLProjects@adobe.com. If you face difficulty sharing the files with us, please upload them on a cloud drive and share the link with us over email.

Judging Criteria

A panel of qualified judges designated by Adobe will, in their sole discretion, evaluate and score all eligible entries received and select the Participants with the highest score (potential “winner(s)”) using the below criteria:

• Innovation: Does the design offer innovative approaches or solutions to common e-learning challenges?
• Creativity: Are there creative elements that make the learning experience memorable and beautiful?
• Engagement: Does the design motivate learners to actively participate and complete the content?
• Interactivity: Does the design offer interactive elements that encourage active participation and learning?
• Multimedia Integration: How well are various multimedia elements (videos, quizzes, simulations) incorporated to enhance engagement?
• Assessment: Are there appropriate methods to assess learner understanding and progress?
• Feedback Mechanisms: Are there opportunities for learners to receive feedback on their progress?
• Accessibility: Is the course accessible to all users, including those with disabilities?
